At De Nieuwe Winkel, we don’t see wine as a pairing, but as part of the story at the table. We pour wines made with respect for their environment. Pure, vibrant, and honest. And we are looking for a sommelier who recognizes themselves in that philosophy.

Our cuisine is radically plant-based, exploratory, and deeply connected to biodiversity. Our beverages follow the same line of thought: wine, but also other fermentations and creations that deepen flavor rather than dominate it.

You will work in a small, specialized sommelier team and be directly involved in our guests’ experience: advising, presenting, thinking along about pairings, and continually searching for what could be better, more exciting, or more fitting.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine love for wine and gastronomy
  • Feels affinity with wines that reflect their terroir and maker
  • Brings calm and precision to service
  • Enjoys collaborating at a high level
  • Remains curious and eager to grow

A formal sommelier or wine certification is preferred, but attitude and palate are decisive.
